Line 1: Line 1:
-Before starting:
-  * Target ID 4 is for making pointing models
-  * Make sure exposure script for current camera is there, with an appropriate exposure time.
-Assuming the telescope is T0
-  - rts2-mon/T0: **Set** model count to 0
-  - rts2-mon/EXEC:
-    - **check** auto_loop and default_auto_loop are true
-    - **run** 'now 4' (for ~20 exposures)
-  - shell: (recommended)
-    - **run** 'rts2-nightreport -i' to look at observations as they happen
-    - **back up** old model /etc/rts2/ir.model
-  - after ~20 exposures, **run** 'rts2-opentpl-errors -c' to calculate (and load) the new model.
-  - rts2-mon/T0: **run** save_model (to write new /etc/rts2/ir.model

-Repeat this above pattern again with a larger number of points (e.g. 50) to refine it.
